The difference is one hop. I think that’s how ISP’s measure it anyway. I’ll bet spoofing that number would bypass the restriction.
Or I’m hopelessly out of date.
6 0 ReplySomething like that, yeah. I recall a while back that TTL spoofing was a way to get around that kind of detection. Haven't had to deal with that lately, so no idea if it's still valid / applicable.
