Carnauba wax
It is added to sweets to stop them melting, to pills to make them easier to swallow and as a thickener in lipstick and mascara.
The wax is harvested from carnauba palm trees.
Which is a good thing, just the way it's harvested is the bad thing. Otherwise they will just figure out how to make it from plastic. Surprised that isn't already a thing.
