Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful. Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

edit: just to be clear, I copy pasted the following original title from Al Jazeera's website. It's very alarming, but there is currently no evidence of an Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear sites, which would prompt Iran to "pursue nuclear weapons," as quoted. No need to panic yet

jesus fucking christ, israel just has to escalate this shit, doesn't it? how long does the uranium enrichment process take, and could Iran conceivably arm itself with nukes in short order?
- they don't actually need nukes to make tel aviv uncomfortably radioactive, plain old uranium dispersed in airbursts will do it

  At least in amerikkka the reactor containment buildings are designed to be protected against some degree of missile strike. How good that is is classified, I'd assume. You'd need a bunker buster type missile/bomb to do Chernobyl 2
- Disclaimer at the top: currently no evidence Israel attacked a nuclear site. Yes, there are nuclear sites within that region but we don’t know yet.
  
  This has been reported as misleading title, it’s an important article for context but please change the title or make it clear there is as of last checked, a few minutes ago, any evidence a nuclear site was struck.

  doubtful. you need to test that kind of thing and we can detect underground nuclear tests pretty easily based off of seismic wave monitoring
- You need to change the wording on that. The article doesn't say anything about there having been strikes its all just talking and threats. “Our fingers are on the trigger of firing strong missiles" etc.
