Eight tips about consent for fediverse developers

If you're a developer working on a fediverse app or service and want to get it right – or just don't want to be the center of the next firestorm – here are a few suggestions.

    This sounds very similar to a concept I was thinking of a while back, casual privacy:

    What casual privacy isn't, is a foolproof cage around my data. A deliberately malicious and powerful actor could no doubt still get a look into my home if they wanted to. They probably could manage to eavesdrop at the restaurant and certainly could walk around to get a different angle of my computer screen. That's not the point.

    It's a different framing, but as far as I can tell it's the same idea.
