Google says pause ads on YouTube are getting a very positive reaction from advertisers. The company could roll them out widely soon.

This article didn't explain anything. I still don't know what these ads are.
Thanks for downvoting me instead of explaining it. Very helpful đ
12 5 ReplyIt did explain it, I thought. Pause ads:
the company said that when you pause a video, it will shrink, and an ad will appear next to it
9 0 ReplyBecause screw you if you want to pause a video to read something
10 0 ReplyThank you. I read that part, but it doesn't explain what else happens. It doesn't really give much details. So no ads all throughout the video until it is paused? Does that add disappear when I resume the video?.... Etc. Like more context would be helpful. Unless that's the only thing they know?
1 2 ReplyI will guarantee you, these will be additional ads, not replacing existing ones.
8 0 ReplyOh I'm pretty sure it's going to be something shitty.

Of course it disappears when you start playing the video again. Some video sites already have had ads like this for a few years.
