Sometimes I am able to copy text for quoting, sometimes it does not work.

Using the Android app, latest release.

Can you use the method of opening the "all apps" screen on your phone and then holding to copy the text that way?

That's usually what I do for other apps that don't support text selection.

  If you can't get the text to copy in the app, you can open the all apps screen and then copy text from that as a workaround.
