Started the peppers in March and tomatoes in April. They were getting too big for my grow light so I evicted them outside. Plenty warm in the cold frame in Massachusetts.
Very good eye. Underground high voltage wiring, an electric fence. I ran conduit underground to all four of my 4'x8' raised beds and put 4,000 volt rated wiring in it. Then at each box I run aluminum wire around the perimeter and connect it all to an electric fence controller. I've been gardening for over 10 years now and its the only thing that 100% prevents bunnies and ground hogs from eating my veggie. They get one zap and they don't come back.
