Help can't install SSD

I just got my Framework 16 DIY version and I can’t install the primary SSD because there is a captive screw in the place that holds the SSD down and I can’t remove it so the SSD doesn’t stay held down. There is a screw for the secondary SSD and it comes out. Any ideas?

Update: I got it out, anyone else with this issue, try and pull the screw out it’s very small on the threads so it just pulls out and pushes back in when the drive is seated.

why wont the captive screw come out? Do you have the correctly sized screwdriver? Does it torque but not move, or is it stripping?

  They have a tendency to not do that...
- I’m not sure it’s captive but it won’t tighten or loosen, it just turns. I tried to see if the lower part of it would come out but I believe it’s bolted from the underside of the logic board.
  
  the whole screw turns, or the screw driver is stripping the head?
  
  If the whole screw is turning, try using a strong magnet to pull the screw out.
  
  Could you take a photo to share?
If you don't want to rma it, it might be best to just install the ssd in the secondary slot and deal tith the screw if you ever need a second ssd. If you know someone who likes to tinker with electronics, ask them to help you remove it
- I Can’t the secondary slot is smaller and made for a square size SSD.
  
  If you have a flathead screwdriver that fits into the screw head, you could try using that one while gently pressing down
