The 25-page coalition plan, which highlights broad strategy but not detail, will be formally presented on Thursday but some of the measures the new cabinet plans to implement have already leaked out.
No MP yet, just a meagre 25 page accord. Main proposals could've been worse .
Also coalation will need accord of EU to opt-out for some stuff (mainly green deals, farms, and migration). Financially, we'll have to see the outcome after several advisary organs run the budget numbers. Upon which there willl follow more debates. We'll see how it goes.There's a lot in there that'll be hard to achieve (my analysis in Dutch), a bunch of things that were mostly expected and aren't great, and of course a couple of good things too.
Especially considering that the party leaders won't be part of the government, I wonder how long it's going to last. It'll be hard for them to meet the party leaders' demands, and there are also bound to be things that aren't specified in the deal that'll cause friction.
I give them three months and they'll break up.
