Love this notion americans have that the US Army is fighting for their "freedom".
That their "American way of life" (really just first world consumerism) is under threat by foreign demons only tamed by the might of the Military Industrial complex.

yeah tumblr is secretly great because at some point a significant contingent of chuds decided to put down roots there and get repeatedly trolled. As far as I know it's where Ashley "communismkills" Rae first made her name as an all-star doofus.
there's also no moderation on tumblr so it's basically a lawless wasteland
