Ad recognition

What exactly do the ads look like on sync for Lemmy? I'm using the free version but not seeing any ads. At least I don't think so...

I don't think there are any. I even had my dns ad blocker disabled and I saw no ads.
- What are the benefits of highlighting and tagging users? I'm just trying to justify the upgrade.
