Had the rain lasted, a Haas could have won that race. But, it did not. Had 2 - 4th Had worked together in the end, Max wouldn't have won. But, that is not the nature of F1 drivers. Good racing.
Even if they everyone else pitted I'd think everyone else would catch up to them. It's a lot of if and buts, as there would almost certainly be safety cars which would change things up.
So is driving a car red Bull, McLaren or Merc over a Haas. Not even mentioning the fact that a better driver can be seconds faster in the wet. That 18+ second advantage is not as big as you think it is for a person in a slow car
Yep, Max finished the race 28 seconds ahead of Ricciardo in P8. He created that gap in 12 laps since the final SC. Haas could capitalize on rain and earn points, but winning the race? No way.
