Clearly this was Audis answer to that Pyramid Concept Car I posted a while ago

The pyramid car was like taking the Dome Zero design too far. This Audi is sorta like dialing it back.

It’s interesting (but not really surprising) that the Dome Zero was at the auto shows in 1978 the Pyramid in ‘80 and this Audi in ‘81.
