I just started flying FPV drones and in the Liftoff simulator on steam you can download models of Ukranian drones with payloads to practice flying one of these. I just thought that was interesting.
I'll have to get that. My flying skills have gotten rusty.

Been using that for 5 years now. It really helps you develop muscle memory.
I can pair my actual radio I use to fly with to my computer and use it in this software.
Liftoff is fun, I've always recommended FPVFreerider for serious training, it's more stripped down and focuses on absolute core flight functionality. Less tuning, more flying.
The graphics are basic but that means you'll never drop a frame even on a potato at 165Hz, the flight controls are insanely tight. Likewise this was the software I paired my radio with and learned to fly.
It's also only a couple bucks and there's a freeware/demo version floating around out there too.
How do you fix throttle settings in the game?
It's meant for a zero-indexed stick so you may need to recalibrate or remap your throttle. Are you using a radio and having issues with reverse below half throttle?
It's been a while since I tried it so I don't remember exactly, but yeah I think above a certain throttle point it wrapped around to low throttle

I think they're making a joke about how when you're playing Liftoff simulator you might be flying them in real life.

I was wanting to make that joke in a helldiver's 2 thread the other day. I couldn't figure out how to phrase it and in the end I decided not to. Woulda been funny AF tho
