It was bad enough that it could have been Star Wars.
I know lots of people love Dave, but, personally, I would love for him and certain execs at Lucasfilm/Disney to step away from Star Wars and let new people with new ideas step in and do something refreshing, fun, and different.
An R-rated Star Wars movie means nothing. What's the plot? Who are the characters? If we're getting the same mediocre (or just bad) stories but with more language, violence, and/or sex, then no thank you.

I'm not sure the plan with the Rey films, but that is likely someone new. (Although I expect a traditional concept.
I'm happy to have some execs move aside, but I think we've got new folks coming in.

New leadership is certainly welcomed, but if they (or whoever) scraped up the ideas from what would have been Star Wars 1313, the idea of an R-rated film might work.

R-rated Jabba's Palace would be worth the admission.
