Tanya Donelly - Keeping You
Subscribe to 4AD here: http://bit.ly/2TLt1l7 Taken from 2001's 'Beautysleep' album by Tanya Donelly is the gorgeous 'Keeping You' (http://4ad.com/releases/292) This video was included with the US version of the album on an enhanced CD. 4AD on the web: http://4ad.com/ https://www.facebook.com/fou...
This is from Tanya's possibly under-rated album Beautysleep which came out on 4AD. It's a beautiful album, but then again, I think that Ms. Donelly could literally sing the menu from a restaurant and sound great.

The Black Halos - Some Things Never Fall
Starring Joey "Shithead" Keithley (DOA), Lee Aaron, and Grant Lawrence (The Smugglers). The first single from The Violent Years, released 2001.
In 2001, I spent a couple of months hanging out in Vancouver and other parts of British Columbia. Vancouver punks, The Black Halos had recently released the album The Violent Years on Sub Pop and were having a "moment". This song was getting played a lot and is evocative of that time for me, along with a couple of other songs.

The Dirtmitts - In The Meantime
Published in May, 2001 "In The Meantime" appears on The Dirtmitts' self-titled album released May 29, 2001. Order on iTunes https://itunes.apple.com/ca/album/s-t/id205425634
This is the lead track from this Vancouver band's debut and self-titled album. Their only other album followed in 2002.
Although I could have posted other videos for songs that may be more known because of appearance on TV shows, I kind of like a video with a little narrative like this one and the jangle of it suits my tastes, too.
After this band broke up, I had a little bit to do with the guitarist from The Dirtmitts, but hadn't really heard much of their stuff until now.
