better grinder for pour over?
  • I used a Capresso for a couple of years, then an Encore, and had a similar experience. It makes more fines than you want, and results are a little bit random: grinding coarser or finer might or might not have the effect you expect from reading up. Finally I just left the grinder at one setting for all beans, and the coffee was… usually good.

    A better grinder allows you to search for an improved cup, to dial in your pour-over brew, with something like predictability. I use a hand grinder, so I won't bother recommending mine ;)
