I've been trying to make changes to my consuming habits for a good number of years in pro of contributing (however small it might be) to the climate change fight. But, just as on wintermule says in the comments. It might be a lost fight for us mere individuals.
Just look at the data and then you'll realise that corporatins have been screwing the planet for a long long time now.
Yes we are. Really scary.
Convenient exception
Well in reality there isn't much we can do as normal folk to reverse or slow down the impending doom of global warming.
It's all in the hands of the big corporations that we all know are the biggest contributors, to the whole debacle. They are not going to change a damn thing because is all about the extreme profiteering.
True. Even I find myself going back to Reddit (using the crappy android app) every now and then. Granted not as much as I use to when I was using Sync for Reddit.
Well yes, it's always easier to just blame the government rather than doing a full investigation to find the actual root of the issue and the culprits.
This is such a complex issue but it is baffling that whenever there is an incident such as the one that happened recently, the whole blame is always placed in the government agencies rather than the criminals that organise and charge for such dangerous crossings.
It's not not only r/gunners. There multiple subreddits that I follow where the whole situation has been missunderstood and categorised as the uprising of a mere few (mainly users of 3rd party apps).
I don't think there will be a mass exodus from Reddit as many predict.
