The desktop app ain't great and I want milk drop
Now I can add a Plex integration. Finally my CD collection can return to winamp
Ah damn. Then no one will be getting their jobs back
I mean is it a tariff on importing from all countries to the US, or just a tariff on imports from china? I guess I could Google it
I couldn't find it in the article, but is it a tariff from all countries? If not then this is a useless gesture and no one will get their jobs back. The new trend is Central America for manufacturing and Eastern Europe for white collar outsourcing.
My apologies. I missed it
Not even a year ago. Reddit has been used for training data for well over a decade. We used it in 2012 in an AI class.
Lemmy is even easier to scrape. Just set up your own instance, then read the database after activity pub pushes everything to you.
LLMs have been training on Reddit posts since at least 2012. Nothing really new here.
I only wish it had Milkdrop
Basically the issue is that every six months they break all mods. Many projects over the years got abandoned after an update, or they were just never able to make progress because every six months they'd have to spend weeks patching.
There are some big mods still, but they're mostly just content additions. Anything that does overhauls, or has lots of overlapping systems, is doomed to failure unless they want to target a specific version of the game and never update. There was a big story mod awhile ago that decided to lock the game version that they supported, but it died when some dependencies updated to the new game version.
Modders work in their free time, so they can only make real progress when they have a stable base for a long long time.
Assuming there's no weird catch, this is amazing. I love winamp
Good game. It's very unfinished, but I got my money's worth from what is finished. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
The developer was smart and did a vertical slice, and completely blocked off the unfinished parts. Where as other devs do horizontal slices which means every part of the game is buggy and reputation ruining.
Good game, good dev, good development story. Would buy again.
I don't like thinking about that, lol. Skyrim being 13 really makes me feel old
Falling for a grift, sadly.
The game is a decade old. I get the feeling that most mods will never be updated.
Downvoters should go check out the Stellaris mod graveyard. So many good mods gone forever.
I miss going to the Apple Store in 2009. So many cool new toys
Quiet layoffs
That'd be awful, but at least it wouldn't be an iPad glued to the dashboard. I hate that Tesla-inspired look so much
I tried, I really really tried not to soy face when they revealed Thrawn. But it overpowered me. The sight of a book character being on screen overpowered my will, my mouth fell agape and I full on soy faced. I even kicked my feet a little.
Like a thousand YouTube clickbait thumbnails before me, I collapsed under the weight of immense hype.
I was trying to submit a comment today when it said I couldn't comment in this language. My account default is set to English, but I don't see a way in memmy to select the language for my specific comment.
