yeah, decision became active in January, the news is that yesterday Rosfinmonitoring (Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation) added "LGBT movement" to its own list. I guess, it's just bureaucratic things?
For those who don't know what Rosfinmonitoring is:
The Federal Financial Monitoring Service of the Russian Federation is a Federal Service that is aimed to collect and analyze information about financial transactions in order to combat domestic and international money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. The organization also provides lists of people accused of terrorist or "extremist" activities and books.
This website is called "Myrotvorets" (peacemaker) and it's not official kill list, it's a database of people who are considered to be agents of Kremlin, separatists and etc by creators of this site. Personal data of these people (including home address) is published there. It's still horrible and even though it's against Ukraine law to publish such data without consent the government did nothing (Former human rights ombudsman Valeria Lutkovska tried to get the authors punished, but she was told that the work of the website was extremely important for Ukraine's national security. Later, the Security Service of Ukraine issued an official statement saying that it did not see any violations).
The screenshot is old, news with that screenshot was posted in August-September of 2023, i found two sources:
-
Pro-Russian, claiming that the Pope was actually added but then deleted from the list: https://web.archive.org/web/20240310112313/https://ukraina.ru/20230830/1049030495.html
-
Pro-Ukraine, claiming that the Pope was never added in "Myrotvorets" and it's just fake: https://web.archive.org/web/20231201061639/https://voxukraine.org/ru/fotofejk-papu-rymskogo-frantsyska-vnesly-v-bazu-myrotvorets
Either way the Pope isn't on that list and it's not related to his recent statement.
the site is also available in Russian and English languages, so the usage of Russian isn't weird in that case, however i didn't find any proof of that screenshot being true
probably supports Russia for cringe rightwinger reasons
well Russian government banned transition in last year, so that checks out...
i literally joined hexbear because i heard how trans supportive this place is
defederated after they did WHAT? i am pretty new here so i don't know what happened, can someone enlighten me, please?
Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku - is short but heartwarming manga about trans girl Akira who is early in her transition. She has a childhood friend Hine who supports her no matter what. Since Akira decided to be presented as girl full time she got a lot of attention and Hime decided to help her friend by crossdressing as a boy. I like this manga because it's literally about trans person and it's not denied unlike in many other manga where character swap their gender, they enjoy it but they are still cis™ tho.
that's not the first time i hear that "cheating and stealing is part of their culture", where did this bs came from?
the perfect ad for hexbear doesn't exi-
hexbear is an online marxist transgender cult
i would be very concerned if someone vote for either of them
i remember exact same meme was posted on r/196 but instead of "tankies" there were "neoliberals". Ironic
A few months ago Russian government banned transition for trans people, i.e. it's impossible to change gender in passport, can't get HRT officially (exceptions are people who was getting HRT before the law was passed) and etc. And there was literally NO ONE who voted against the law in the government. It's awful.
The idea of "Union of Soviet Sovereign Republics" is taken from real life. It was an attempt to reform Soviet Union into less centralized federal system. They wanted to give it a new name but also save acronym (USSR/СССР). This replacement never happened because of August Coup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Union_Treaty).
yes!
Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) = Союз Советских Социалистических Республик (СССР)
Union of Soviet Sovereign Republics (USSR) = Союз Суверенных Советских Республик (СССР)
What does state capitalism mean? What are examples of state capitalism? Was USSR state capitalistic or maybe it was during some period (like in NEP)? If it wasn't then why do some people say that USSR wasn't really socialist country but state capitalistic?
