Why do developers keep adding virtual cursors to console games?
  • Both things happen. It depends on what the game was originally designed for.

  • Love wins against nazis rule
  • A swastikan't

  • What do you use Vaseline for?
  • Technically still for my lips but it's super

  • Wisconsin judge sides with 11-year-old trans girl over her right to use school toilets
  • What planet do you live on? Do you even know any trans people?

I know a LOT of trans people, and none of their parents were particularly happy about their choice to transition. At best they were begrudgingly supportive.

Nothing is pushing us to transition. Quite the opposite, infact.

  • Be honest, do you still use reddit?
  • I used reddit until Sync stopped working, and I haven't been on since, except to delete a bunch of old posts.

  • What's a quote that has stuck with you for your whole life?
  • This reminds me of one my favorites.

"Your current system is perfectly designed to create your current results" - CGP Grey

  • Are almost all mobile games bad?
  • Peggle has eaten every one of my lunch break for the past two weeks.

  • What's a quote that has stuck with you for your whole life?
  • I see now that the circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

    • Mewtwo

I thought about that quote a lot when I first began transitioning.

The dominance of cat content VS dog content on Lemmy reflects its current techie userbase
  • Even if apartments in your area allow dogs, it's just so much easier to care for them in a house.

Most people don't let their cat leave the house, or just let it roam whenever it wants. So with them it doesn't matter as much if you have a house.

  • 12 years ago. Wonder what Lemmy will look like in 12 years?
  • I think you misunderstand what they're saying. You shouldn't have had to make an account. G+ should've just been a part of your existing Google account.

  • Question: People who still frequent Reddit, has it gone back to business as usual or are the protests still having effect?
  • Jeroba has served me really well while I wait for Sync. It's not perfect, but I've used far worse clients.
