My Pansies

  • I'm not sure I want my weed to taste like a horny goat, I give it to my family

  • Drugs are a hell of a drug

  • Thank you for your service

  • I've never owned a fridge with one and I don't think i'd ever get used to it. Too spooky!

  • I think people really underestimate how much work it is to maintain a community online. It's something that is so outside of my skillset and capabilities that I feel awe when I see it done successfully.

  • I'm extremely stubborn and DETERMINED to force my non-wood hardy hydrangea to bloom by burying it in leaves and giving it a nice little house in the winter.

  • Echoing what everyone else has said, peppers love heat. Ours were started about the same time as yours and they look about the same. They don't really start popping off until they are outside, with room to grow and it gets hot hot.

Good job getting them started so early, I'm sure you will be rewarded once their established root systems are given the environment they need to thrive in.

  • They are going to get even weirder when they start changing colour!!

  • Beautiful pillowy mounds

  • The dream of having a large garden is one of the main reasons we moved to the country!

We planted most of what I've shown here apart from the honeysuckle, sour cherry (we added two more!), chokecherry, and spirea (added 3 more lol). It takes up most of our free time from May through October and we are so grateful for it.

Edit: I should say we start lots of things from seed and we buy perennials on sale as much as possible or buy really young whips or crowns for things like the apple trees or asparagus.

  • These little weirdos are so cool and look so healthy

  • I really love how it changes and there is always something blooming. Most of the fruit is done flowing (except the strawberry, raspberry and elderberry). Next up will be the poppies, then the swamp rose, the regular roses, the hibiscus, the never ending bean blooms and finally the weed 💕

  • She's so beautiful 🤩

  • Oh no, the emperor is so scary

  • unceded anishinaabe territory in eastern ontario

  • LMAO it was
