  • "We do two things here in America with zero tolerance of resistance: throw trillions at private "defense" contractors, and billions at private prisons. It's unconstitutional to not have private prisons."

    /wrist

  • Why does this matter? He can't run again unless they just go full dictator and then it doesn't matter what the public thinks of him anyway.

    I'd be more interested in the question "how do you feel about Republicans performance so far?" At least that would give us some insight into the midterms.

  • It absolutely is for them.

    "Probably": She only names Democrats.

    "Probably not": she names Trump and other Republicans.

    They'll decide if she's trustworthy depending on if she says what they want to hear. :(

  • Do they smell like hamburgers?

    It's so strange. They article says they couldn't prove it was from the US but rejected them because they can't prove where they're from at all.

    Lol soybean laundering was not a business I expected to exist. The Mafia needs to change with the times I suppose... Points for creativity.

  • Awesome! Now I can finally start my Trump Properties rental services! Anyone want to rent Trump's properties just pay me! It's not feasible for me to actually pay him to use any of his properties, that's just unrealistic. I'm so glad this administration doesn't want to stifle business creation!

  • "I don't understand why you're dragging me here for this. Trump's mission for the DOJ is quite obvious. He gave us the explicit mission to protect him at all costs and to enact vengeance on his political enemies. What is so hard to get about that? I'm doing my job! Wait, what? The American people? What? Who the fuck cares about them?"

  • American "media," anything you might consume to learn what America "is" is pretty much pure propaganda. We really aren't anything to be admired or envied.

    I share a similar feeling to you, being born in America and subjected to the brainwashing that happens in our schools that tells you we're 100% The Best People On Earth™©® and that we were always on the right side of history, only to grow up and find out that's a complete lie and we're often among the absolute worse humanity has to offer really messed with my head.

    What America "is" is a collection of small, selfish groups (families) with very little interest in the well-being of people "different" from themselves, or different from their families, and all deeply disconnected from the realities of the wider world. Outside of that, we're a people ruled by the wealthiest in the world who are actively working to ruin anything Americans could possibly have any pride in having created in favor of increasing their individual wealth.

    Individual Americans can be good people, but as a whole, this place is a dumpster fire masquerading as a paradise.

  • Isn't she really wealthy by now? If she isn't, after all she's done and all her victories, then thats just an additional amount of frustration on top of our shared healthcare bullshit... She deserves to not have to worry about that, I'd have thought she could afford good health insurance.

  • "Listen, will you shut the fuck up about this? We're not done fabricating evidence to 'prove' Trump's innocence yet. Here, look over here, we're trying to get to you look at us claiming Obama fabricated evidence so you can overlook our fabrication of evidence! Obama Obama Obama! Look over here!"
