With those bougie names, I’m sure their locations are all on wealthier areas of the city, not the best locations for these shops. But one or two in such places might show people that grocery costs are mostly a factor of greed, and get them to support public owned goods, if we’re lucky.

While the making of lewd content is legal in China, profiting off of it is very heavily criminalized. And erotic books, as absurd as it may seem, are categorized the same as pornography. So by selling or profiting off of these works, these authors were breaking the law.

I flew in 2024 most recently and had no such requirement. I wonder why the differing experience.

Because he’s lying. I travel to China regularly and they don’t give a fuck about my phone. Not once have they done more than just glance at my passport, glance at me, and stamp it and send me on my way.

No they don’t. Customs in China is like 2 seconds of them glancing at your passport, looking at you, and stamping it. Literally the fastest I’ve ever got through an airport is in China, both arriving and leaving.

It’s not much of a difference, but libre 3 has a thing on their site where if your insurance doesn’t cover it, they’ll give you a coupon that drops the price to $75 for 2 sensors. My wife and I did that for a while until I got different insurance that covers it, though it’s still $75/2 with insurance, I just don’t have to keep getting the coupon.

I had such a nasty smokers cough and spit up such nasty brown shit all day, especially in the morning, when I smoked cigarettes. I vape now, and I definitely still feel like it’s harming my lungs, no question about that, but instead of being out of breath all the time, I only get out of breath when I’m actively vaping, and I don’t cough so loud I wake up people two houses down anymore. Quitting vaping is definitely hard though, nicotine intake is instant and higher because there’s no built in “quit” like when you finish a cigarette.
