Fellow former Joey user here.
Right now I can't find either of the two options you described. However, with this app I could tailor the interface very close to my Joey experience.
A couple examples. Very few apps have the option to not hide parent when collapsing a comment (I prefer to hide all the children while keeping the parent visible), and Sync can do this. More importantly for me, you can peek at media content. With Joey you could peek at everything, so it was much better, but it's something.
I still hope that some day a wild codesForLiving appears here with their new Lemmy app. Until this hope dies, I'm not committing to any other app fully.
