  • COINtrapoints does it again.

None of this is Palestinians fault of course, who are overwhelmingly the victims here.

who are the other victims hmm? even underwhelmingly? oh thats right its you, a rich liberal who cant square their own contradictions.

  • Valheim is definitely a game I loved, but man there is still a lot of jank to it that I just cannot stand to bear any longer. All the jank is bearable up until the mistlands and then I just cant deal with the floaty combat, dying destroying hours of skill grinding, inventory space being so limited, and the procedural generation putting some stuff in ridiculous places. All of it leads to pretty poor single player experience (at that point), where it feels like having other players with you is a downright necessity.

But as you stated mods do fix quite a lot of what is broken or should really just be in the game to begin with.

  • I think you've done good, and I think at least most of us have been in a similar position as you or even in the position of your liberal friend. Most people however dont change their minds on a dime especially when theyve invested so much of themselves into a position and defined themselves by that position. Unless your friend continues to surround himself in the media and refuses to think about what you said, how you got him to think, then that seed of an idea you planted will take root, and it will bear fruit, just not for a while.

It also seems like your friend is operating under some form of chauvinism e.g. American Exceptionalism, so in any future conversations with your friend I'd maybe do some research on arguments against this, Parenti in Blackshirts and Reds helped stamp out the last of that for me.
