  • I haven't ahd much Bally exposure, except a few years back when they provided coverage for the Predators, but they didn't have that, and I was pirating again anyway lol

  • Decided to play some cornhole in the yard. WVU on bye, it's nice to have a free weekend. Just been checking in on games for hour or so.

Got me thinking. I coulda been a Bama fan. Saban is from here, the connection exists. Instead I just decide to be sad every weekend

  • These announcers are gonna make this CO game awful. It's been 15 minutes of throating CO. "Travis Hunter is top .001% WR", "It's just him and OBJ making catches like that", "CO is 3-1 because of their passing, and they're running the ball right now, unstoppable".

I'm sure Hunter is good, but idk if he's comparable to OBJ yet, and they went 3-1 last year.

  • 4th and 7 and they've continually run that awful fake pitch then just uncork a bomb lol. OK, if it works I guess

  • I would be somewhat more likely to not pirate everything if ESPN didn't have that awful, grating "your game is at commercial break" noise. That shit is awful.

  • I can't tell if OSU and KSU have bad defense or the offenses are good. I'm leaning towards bad D.

  • How do you solo train on stationary bike?
  • You don't necessarily need to keep the time to do it. You could just give yourself rest periods and push periods, but it'd probably be hard to keep the motivation without seeing number go up lol, at least to me. If all you get is total distance at the end, then I'd definitely just do the RPM thing. Just set a goal RPM and a rest RPM and bounce between the two as you are able to push total distance

  • How do you solo train on stationary bike?
  • When I use mine, I don't do training like that. I end up playing Xbox or watching TV or 2-3 hours while I just pedal.

However, when I was doing that, the bike had preset "routes" you could do where the resistance changed on it's own, and I'd just try to keep the same pace up for the 30min-1hr I was doing. It could also do it across distances. When I wasn't doing the preset courses, I was just setting the resistance to what felt decent, and then keeping up my RPM (usually ~100). If I was really feeling myself, I'd up the resistance a bit. If it was a bad day, I'd drop it down. The total distance at the end would change based on the resistance I used, so I could at least always tell what days were "better" and which weren't. The motivation was just wanting to see if I could beat my previous distance.

  • UNLV starting QB Matt Sluka is no longer playing the rest of the season [updated]
  • Sadly. Lot of schools are gonna suffer the fallout too. I've long said even the previous model isn't sustainable. Schools are spending so much on stadiums and facilities and equipment, and every school felt the need to keep up. It's long been an issue, but now money is flowing freely to players while the school still manages the same costs, if not more for the NIL shortcomings.

  • UNLV starting QB Matt Sluka is no longer playing the rest of the season [updated]
  • We're kidding ourselves at this point. I know we have literally 0 sway over what happens, so I'm just bitching to bitch lol. But I don't think you could invent a worse system than NIL. Like WVU opened a bar that helps fund NIL. It's owned by a sports agent. So the guy gets kickbacks on the bar profits, a % of the money goes to NIL, and he presumably has an in with the players, and gets a % of their NIL money, partially paid for by the bar he owns. Like....that feels insane to me given the setup for the players. Lmao

    It's literally the wild west.

  • And here we see the problem with NIL.

Just get fucking contracts. This is so asinine.

  • I wouldn't say all that. Jordan Lesley still likely on staff and they won't fire Neal mid season. But it's nice to win one after last week.

  • [GAMEDAY] Saturday, September 21, 2024 (Florida @ Miss St, #9 USC @ #18 Michigan, #3 Tennessee @ #11 OU, #17 Utah @ #14 OSU and others)
  • Estimating about 2 hour delay for us. Which is damn near what we had for Penn State.

We're probably gonna do the same shit too, go into locker room, Neal is gonna come up with the world's worst game plan, come back out, and just shit all over himself

  • Went to the WVU opening game, got delayed against Penn St.

At this WVU game, it's getting delayed again. This, along with the injuries today, were fuckin cursed boys.
