I've been hopping searxng instances for a year now and always noticed a couple seconds delay everytime I do a search. Does self hosting help with the delay?

Nova bc I don't know any FOSS launcher that can swipe an icon up/down for multiple functionalities. Also I like the inrlteration with sesame.

I thought Blackhole was okay altho I do notice a little lag in loading. It sources the audio from saavn, ytm and og youtube.

Also I know you asked for a foss app but I've always loved ymusic.

I dont think Sync for Lemmy has swipe option though. I did ask LJ about it and he said there was no current plan to add that feature

Eternity, Connect and Boost does this. But I like eternity's iteration of swipe navigation the most for the time being.

I like boost but the comments doesn't load unless I tap the comment icon. I should prolly open an issue on git
