  • Marauders is fun! Solid gameplay loop. It is more basic than Tarkov in a mechanical sense, but this means it's easier to convince your friends to play and easier to jump in and out of. It's still a more tactical and methodical shooter than a lot of what you find in the mainstream. There is also a pretty unique space flight mechanic as part of the raiding process that the devs are still working on.

I've gotten my money's worth for sure. I think I'm around 130 hours played so far, and I could see myself putting in at least twice that as development continues. More if my friends keep at it too.

  • Legit Cali?
  • This has to be a joke. Reminds me of getting a handful of nugs from my dealer in high school, pre-legalization, because he ran out of bags. Or a cigarette wrapper that was burnt shut to hold a dime bag.

  • FromSoft newcomers: what advice did you get that was actually useful?
  • First: Be patient in fights. More patient than you're probably used to.

Second: Do not fear the loss of runes. Consider runes gone the moment you die. Then if you get them back, it's just a nice little boon. (Of course, also be smart and strategic about timing your level ups.)

This was general advice I got that helped me not psych myself out and get into the flow of the game.

  • Samsung and uBreakiFix by Asurion Team Up to Bring Enhanced Device Care to Even More People Nationwide [US]
  • I'll also say fuck Asurion. They seemingly bricked my phone during a routine repair. Obviously they came up with a flimsy excuse for why it wasn't their fault, but regardless I ended up walking out with a paperweight instead of a screen damaged but otherwise fully functional device. Would've been better off not seeking their service.

  • I like the web app more.
  • I thought the same about Liftoff. I downloaded it and Connect at the same time and felt ok about both, but didn't see them as improvements over Jerboa. As of five minutes ago I started giving Connect another shot; the Sync hype has me wondering if the grass is greener anywhere but I'm not willing to drop $20 to remove ads for a federation access point.

  • You didn't bought it you rented it!
  • Yep, I bought a Brother laser printer for $120 a few years ago. I don't use it super often, but it's been reliable and easy to use whenever I need it. I've never had to replace the toner. It just works.

Those of you who shower barehanded: Do you lather and then use your hand, or just shove the soap wherever it needs to go?
  • I mean, yeah? I don't use a wash cloth anymore, I use a different kind of scrubber that dries out quickly, but when I used a wash cloth I just used a different one every day. Marginal impact on my laundry and a pack at Target was cheap. Every day I could wash my face with a clean cloth and then wash the rest of my body.
