My favorite of all time for exactly this is Spec Ops: The Line. Its a third person shooter and really fun, but its main selling point is making super tough morally gray decisions. Still one of my favorite game stories ever. You can usually get it really cheap and its just perfect for what tou described.

I am currently traveling full time through southeast Asia and I would definitely consider becoming an expat here.

For less than half the price of normal living costs in north america or Europe you can live a life of luxury over here. Plus the big cities are honestly just as nice or even better than most back home.

Why live in north america in a small house or apartment when for the same amount I could have a penthouse and eat out everyday if I wanted plus go on twice as many vacations a year. I also just love the hot climate so its perfect!

Not sure how similar to Ynab but firefly 3 looks good.
