I must be using a different YouTube as everyone else since I'm not really experiencing any of that myself.
When by hearing their opinion on, say, gun-control I can then succesfully predict their stance on 15 other completely unrelated subjects.
No it doesn't. It's made of 300-series stainless steel which is highly resistant to rusting. Left out for the elements long enough it would be among the last vehicles in the world with something still left of the body. It'll probably even outlive Chevrolet Corvette which is made of fibreglass.
The rust you hear about is not the body that is rusting. It's iron particles in the air, mostly from brake rotors, called "fallout" that lands on the bare steel causing a chemical reaction which causes it to rust. That iron particle that is, not the stainless steel. It's surface contamination that can be cleaned off. There's no damage to the body itself.
I don't think any amount of vinyl wrap can make it look less like a Cybertruck.
Why are people speaking of incels as if that's some kind of club you need to apply for membership? Isn't it by definition something you're part of against your own will? That's like talking about people under 6ft tall as some sort of secret society plotting the takeover of the world.
That doesn't dispute my argument; generative AI can create images that are not in the training data. It doesn't need to know what something looks like as long as the person using it does and can write the correct prompt for it. The corn dog I posted below is a good example. You can be sure that wasn't in the training data yet it was still able to generate it.
Don't you threaten me with a better climate
How many corn dogs do you think were in the training data? There has to have been atleast some, right?
One doesn't need to browse AI generated images for longer than 5 seconds to realize it can generate a ton of stuff that you for absolute certainty can know wasn't on the training data. I don't get why people insist on the narrative that it can only output copies of what it has already seen. What's generative about that?
Be the change you want to see in the world
To me that means to live in a way that if everyone else did too, the world would be a better place. It obviously doesn't gurantee that my moral compas always points to the right direction but it's the only indication I've got about what's right and what's wrong. This also means that I don't go out of my way doing some major charity work but just that I do my part no matter how insignificant it might feel because I believe that if everyone else did that too it would bring about a real change.
It's still rather easy to identify AI generated pictures, especially of people. There's still way to go untill we get video that's sufficiently good that it's difficult to tell it's fake. It's absolutely going to be a problem sooner or later but I doubt we're anywhere near.
Also, the one benefit this all comes with is the plausible deniability when you're accused of something even if it really was you. Say you have nudes leak online for example. You can just say they're not real and it would be really difficult to prove otherwise.
It's a bladed tool. You can absolutely notice a difference between a sharp and dull shovel. The edge rounds out in use. A quick touch-up with a file helps a ton.
One or two times probably not but more than that likely will. Especially if there were major dents you grinded away. You can buy a cheap plastic tool to check the balance and then just grind away from the non blade side to balance it out.
Shovel is a common item many don't realize needs sharpening too
I was dunking this into water between the heavy grinding. Heat is the enemy there.
Not even close. That level of sharpness would only matter on axe if you intend to use it as a weapon. Chopping wood with edge like that would just bend it and make it dull prematurely.
Yeah, edge that sharp serves no purpose on axe. It'll bend and then be dull again. Shallower point with the burr removed is more durable and stays sharp(ish) for much longer.
I have no idea. It was one of those black fibre ones that you attach to a drill. I had originally used it to polish stainless steel after welding. Stropping is the difference between reflecting light and reflecting image
That's mostly why I polished it, though we might be thinking of different contaminants
