Anyone else have reactionary/fascist family members that think they're successfully hiding it from you?

  • Yep. They like to claim to be "in the middle" and have no allegiance to any political wing, while also just spouting off the most generic right wing stuff imaginable. One time I defended student protests against education fees, prompting one of them to ask me if I was a terrorist for giving one of the tamest defenses imaginable. Years later, that same one compared me to ISIS. First time, I just laughed it off because I couldn't take the question seriously and the second time I just ignored it.
