Well yeah, I would hope it limits the ability of some of them. Like the ones that are cheating, duh
There's type 1 and 2 diabetes. I believe type 2 requires you to regularly prick your fingers to test your blood sugar levels several times a day while type 1 requires mandatory insulin shots into your stomach a few times a day. Basically a diabetic fuckin hates needles for good reason and to be able to do that with ultrasound would be rad.
I mean Chicago is pretty darn gay and loud about it if you ask me. Hell there's at least 3 predominantly lgbt neighborhoods and Chicagoans aren't afraid to speak up either, so I'd say it's feasible this could have happened.
Yeah they can scratch, but unlike metal, they can petina and then you can't even see the damage. I typically stay away from wooden bands though because the links rub together and are fragile.
They're also lighter and more comfortable to me, plus more eye catching. Definitely not for people that prefer watches they can beat up though. What kind of watches do you prefer?
So I do have my own watch collection of swatches and various brands, but I noticed no one really posts anything about wooden watches. I've been pretty big on them the past couple of years and have 5, but I usually see more classic/staple watch posts on Reddit and now Lemmy (Reddit is dead to me).
What's your opinion; are you for or against wood Timepieces and why?
I still do this in the most gender neutral way possible, is this no longer kosher?
It's mostly on the instance lemmynsfw.com, but you should be able to see it when looking at All. Maybe the app you're using has NSFW content blocked by default? Yeah there's a ton of porn, but mostly just images or links to red gif
Well said bruh, surprise boobs are nice to have back again. Definitely a lot of hentai and furries, but it's a mild annoyance. Not seeing so much commey or right wing stuff though, so I think that's people trying to shit talk Lemmy
My linked image might be a bad example, but I know it mostly happens with gifs. I tried screenshoting the posts it was happening to, but I can't seem to view said posts because I had "hide read posts" and"scrolling past post marks as read" on, so they're gone.
On a related note, I turned off both settings and cleared my hidden posts log, but I still can't seem to view the posts I was trying to screenshot! Using a Pixel 5A, Android version 13.
EDIT: When I send a comment recently, it death spirals until I back out, but the comment does post. I don't believe this was happening before, so might be a part of your recent update? Thanks again for paying attention to lil ol' me 👍
I've been testing Connect against Jerboa and Liftoff, Connect still takes it! I wish the thumbnails performed better though, I'm seeing less previews/thumbnails on Connect vs the other apps. If that could be addressed, I'll go right ahead and delete the others.
Lie down on your side with the clogged nostril higher than your clear nostril. Breathe normally and you'll notice your nostril will unclog after a few minutes, works 90% of the time.
Think of the clog as a mass behind your nose and gravity is shifting it to the middle. FYI it might switch to the other nostril, so it might take a few attempts before you clear both and at the very least you get a bit of easy relief without meds or more aggressive methods.
Well yeah, being abused sucks lol. Doesn't mean all relationships are bad. I'm married now to my best friend and I'm happier than I ever was when I was single. Best I can say is to always stay true to yourself; learn to be happy by yourself first, then find someone to compliment your happiness. Also, COMMUNICATION IS KEY
I haven't found a history of upvotes and I think it's a great feature to add. Yes you can save posts, but I like to bookmark specific posts to share with my partner while still being able to upvote what I like+revisit them later.
It starts off with small, benign things that are too small to make a big deal out of. Maybe I am an idiot for forgetting to do the dishes? Then they don't like your friends, your family is too judgemental and you need to respect whatever they say because your partner takes priority, how dare you not be completely committed to your partner?
I didn't really know what gaslighting truly was until I was already in too deep, but it involves eroding a person's self esteem, debasing their values and constantly putting someone down so they're constantly trying to think of anything they can do to keep their partner happy because that's what a good partner does. I think the tipping point when I started to question my relationship was when she punched me in my face on my birthday, kicked me out of the car and had to walk home 2 miles at 1am; I think I stayed in the relationship probably another 1-2 years after that because that's how effective it can be.
Oh and FYI they'll never actually take their mask off. Once I finally caught them red handed cheating on me, her mask "slipped" and she smiled for just a quick second. Then she doubled down and tried to say she can't live without me, its not what it looks like, and trying to seduce me, anything to sell the lie and never ever admitted the truth.
