FFT-based ocean-wave rendering, implemented in Godot
  • I can't imagine that anybody has a use for this to begin with. There is literally nothing to tell us what it is.

There is no title and no content. Not even a brief description telling the reader what it is they are looking at.

  • FFT-based ocean-wave rendering, implemented in Godot
  • it's technically a link aggregator yes.

In practice it's more of a discussion platform or forum, with the accompanying expectations of having readily available content or at least a description of said content.

  • Someone made a mod to bypass the PSN login for God of War Ragnarök, and it works
  • I mean, I don't want to need an active Internet connection to play a single player game.

Being forced to become dependent on a external party for a single player game is stupid and dishonest. What happens if their verification servers goes down?

At least, I assume that it needs an active Internet connection to check if your logged in or not.

  • [Meta] I suggest adding a rule to not post videos here.
  • Ah yes the fabled "link aggregator".

Lemmy might technically also be that, but it's first and foremost a discussion platform, although it has an ongoing problem with rampant bot-posts and link-dumpers.

  • [Meta] I suggest adding a rule to not post videos here.
  • A post with nothing in it except a video link is not a post to begin with.

Posts should actually have some content in my opinion, otherwise it's just link dumping which is practically spam.

If I can't determine from the initial post if a article/video is of interest it shouldn't have been posted to begin with.

  • Israeli Media vs Western Media
  • The k makes it sound more islamic and triggers western audience's latent islamophobia

With all due respect, I don't think it's the K-sound that triggers the "western audience's latent islamophobia".

That probably has more to do with the news from England and Germany.

  • A surprising number of 'iPad Kids' are on X, study finds
  • Do you know what the great thing about 2024 is? People actually understand that digital doesn't have the same restrictions as analog.

Applying those very same restrictions would be foolish seeing how it wouldn't work as well, or even at all.

Nuance is sometimes important in these topics, no matter how much you want to act like your bullshit argument actually holds any water for some overarching topic no one was talking about.

  • Nah I don't want corpos to have even more information on me than they already have.

It's time for people to finally accept again that you can't shield kids from anything, especially if it seems forbidden and interesting.

Also if you really wanted to pick a verification age you would have to go with 25+. 18 years old are just legal 17 years old and 20 years are barely out of school and don't have any experience about anything. 30+ years are stuck in the system and 65+ simply don't care anymore.

Actually raise the verification age to 99+. No wait just ban social media for everyone, it sucks and is unhealthy, go tough grass or something.
