The call screener is a godsend and it's the absolute most used feature I rely on. Many evenings I wake up for work and see that my phone stopped 5-10 spam calls that would have ruined my sleep.
Turns out he's two kobolds in a trench coat. His name depends on who's on top that day.
Driller: Straight ahead it is, then.
Humble Bundle is a big contributor to my unplayed games. There's usually only a few games in a bundle that I'm interested in at a good price, and the test I'll eventually get to... Maybe when I retire... If I get to retire...
Let the bed cool down all the way, ya little gremlin! If you absolutely can't wait, put the bed on a tile floor and your print should pop off on it's own pretty quick.
Plastic deformation point, elastic deformation point, yield point, ultimate strength, and failure point
Everything past the dotted line is the point where the material won't go back to its original shape.
Example: You can push on the hood of your car all you want, it'll flex, and go back to its original shape (elastic deformation); but stand on it, and it'll dent (plastic deformation).
You'd probably get an offer from PETA.
The weekend crew rolled in
Best case example I know of these days: try to shop for a mattress
You gotta switch back to retention mode and relax before storage. There's a little bit of lag when the valve ages.
RIP KSP2
This does not whip the llama's ass.
They're snorting the gas off of cans of whipped cream.
P.S. Also, groceries are already expensive enough. Eating out costs even more than that.
Still bleeding in a warehouse wondering WTF just happened.
My only hangup is this would be the second chance at getting anti tank mines that we could fail. They must be important for whatever is coming next if they're offering them up again so soon. The airburst missiles were off the table for quite a while when we failed the first time on those
Generals was really fun. The C&C series really started to decline once EA went balls deep on what was left of Westwood studios for the games after that.
3D is great. I just don't trust most AAA companies to make a decent RTS these days.
To Tiberian Sun and StarCraft were my obsession for years. SC2 was pretty awesome, but I would not trust Blizzard to make another good RTS at this point.
It's a customer option (hush kit) for certain engine types, and it's supposed to reduce exhaust turbulence, thus reducing noise. However, it's usually the high pitched whine of the compressor that most people hear. Most companies don't want to pay for it unless they're required to fall under certain sound levels for certain airports at night. For those, it's often cheaper to not fly that route at night, or use a quieter airplane (such as a CRJ or ERJ with GE CF34 engines).
Come check us out! Psythik is going live from 8-9 PM EST [0100-0200 GMT] and mixing 90's and 00's Trance anthems until 9 PM EST [0200 GMT]. I'll be following him up as DJ Dett from 9-10 PM EST [0200-0300 GMT]. I'll be starting off with some bassy House and working my way up from there!

I would like to be able to select "Block Community" from the 3-dot menu on a post, rather than visiting said community before I can block it.
It would also be nice to be able to block some things without needing an account on that instance (mostly for using the everything-all view).
Just wanted to give some feedback. So far, liftoff is my favorite Lemmy app!
I bought lumber for a screened patio, and I need it to dry so I can paint it before construction. It's been sitting in a neat stack in the garage for almost a month now, and some parts still feel damp.
I'm afraid that laying them out on the driveway during a sunny day would cause the boards to warp.
