It’s one of my daily tasks but I haven’t gotten any from the forbidden forest, and I don’t see it as a potion brew option. Do I have to unlock it somehow?
At first I thought it was a little strange and didn't really get why they added it, but after watching a few matches I think I kinda like it. If nothing else, it's a cool way to see what strategies the top players are using and what decks are working for them. If they can get it working, I think it would be cool to watch the matches live too.
Feels a bit like watching wizard ESPN lol
Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is an all-new immersive collectible card game (CCG) with MMO and RPG elements from WBGames and NetEase arriving on iOS & Android platforms later in 2023.
I’m already like 4 levels higher than the recommended and I’m still going crazy trying to beat this dude.
I know I need to destroy the horns to stun him/clear the gas clouds, but no matter how many changes I make to my deck I can never kill him before the wizard guy shows up and murders me. Been stuck for a few days, Any tips?
Wondering if it’ll be worth dropping some irl money on this. Any thoughts?
I’m using a Hagrid echo and pairing it with the Norwegian Ridgeback Egg card as my base. It can be hard to hatch him, especially in duels, but he’s great once he’s out there and I like seeing a baby Norbert running around lol. Still playing around with other cards to find what would work best with this build.
Anyone else found a setup they really love?
I finished year one and just started year two today, and I have to say there's a lot more content here than I expected for a mobile game. I'm not even moving that quickly through the storyline because I keep getting distracted by duels and forbidden forest adventures. I won't make an extensive list or anything, here are just a few pros/cons off the top of my head:
Pros:
- My favorite thing so far is the art style. I love that it doesn't look like every other mobile game, they actually tried to do something unique and interesting.
- The storyline is actually good and has kept me entertained so far. The cut scenes are also fun to watch.
- I really like that there is plenty to do between dancing, club events, dueling, forbidden forest, etc. I don't usually get bored because I can just jump to something else.
Cons:
- I do wish the storyline was longer. I've been putting off completing it because I don't want it to end yet, but each chapter feels really short.
- I've run into a decent amount of glitches/crashes so far. There are times when the buttons won't show up on a screen after a card draw, so I have to just force close the game. Hopefully these will just get patched with future updates.
Any other pros and cons about the game so far?
This is an entirely unofficial community that I made because I'm having fun playing the game, and it would be cool to see other people who are enjoying it too!
I'll try to get us started with a few posts, but it would be super weird if I was the only one putting stuff here so please don't be a lurker.
Everyone is welcome here, so be awesome to each other - that's the only rule.
