Not quite unrelated - I tried listening to Chapo a month or two back, from the beginning. I made it to about ep 90 before I couldn't take it. The pod was never good and we should all be embarrassed we ever listened to it.

I've met IRL nazbols cause Texoma is hell - They're just Nazis who read some theory. The worst case is they organize other fascists using a fraud of socialist promises based on racial hierarchy.

Of the ones I've met - I would not say it is in any way possible to move them left. The false socialism is just to imagine a good place for themselves in the world - the brutal genocidal rage is the core of who they are and they'll take that over everything.

Hexbear's been pretty chill for the past couple years. Barring usual "I'm bored" tearing up the furniture when nothing in the news is getting our attention.

That Olympic break dancing person for example, saw the posts on that one and just said to my boyfriend "Hexbear is bored, musta been an all right day" and logged off.

I tried to join so many leftist discords a few years ago and they all had questionnaires which were multipage when I finished and the only response I ever got back was one "what?" I have no idea if I put too much work into answering the questions technically because they were technical questions, or if my opinions are just weird AF because I actually read the theory and drew my own conclusions and that's a great way to become quite eccentric and, let's say interestingly, wrong.

Hexbear's is pretty pain free, never been denied.

I slightly bristle at all the "we could [insert hypothetical fascist culture con] so easy!" comments many, including myself, sometimes make as well, it's detritus from being converted liberals. I forget the exact argument but it started with me trying to say I thought it was bad the way we thought of people generally after 9/11 (sand n-word was a common phrase to hear until Obama in my neck of the woods, and not just from crackers) - again I don't remember the actual word for word of it and I'm sure teenage me said everything the msot confrontational way because teenagers be like that, but what I do remember is ending at something like "That makes me ashamed to be an American"

I remember the Bush years - America lost its fucking mind. It was, without a doubt (and in my experience), worse than anything vis pure racism until Oct. 7. We lost our minds again. It's all back. And my ass is keeping my head down this time cause. . there's nothing else to be done.

The Californian genocide was quite popular at the time, is the impression I had from studying it back in college. I frankly wouldn't know how to really delve into that without access to a college library to do a more rigorous analysis than vibes from the books and articles I happened to read and as remembered 15 years later

In my lifetime we've gone from voting to kill what thin social services existed in this country (Clinton) to voting for change and getting the iron clad throne of the imperial presidency (Obama/Biden), to doing the genocides as loudly as possible and calling anyone who stands against it a nazi (Biden). On every single issue I care about as a "this effects my life and those around me immediately", particularly living near-ish the southern border, It seems to just be a cycle of "rally against the racist Repulican!" followed by "Do everything that man promised, 10x harder, nobody will say a word" with Dems in office. The Janus face of capital, both masks, equally cruel, but damn one is a lot more effective at being evil.

yessss - I have some of everything, was working on doing all the tiers of animals as well before I ran out of content. Save is semi on pause until first major content update - I may poke at it sometimes at work cause I have a do nothing courtesy gate job and mindless grinding is perfect for that. Shame the first dang patch fixed the armor speed buff glitch, I am gonna miss my zoomies.

Only reason I finished highschool is one teacher spoke to all my others because he knew I was falling asleep in class or just not showing up because I was working full time and doing community service to stay out of jail. In a just society children don't work to put food on the table, they may or may not get community service as a reform attempt, but not while working and being in school, during the summer holiday or something for heaven's sake. He was so proud when I showed him my SAT/ACT results. Glad he never found out I got kicked out of my first college for being an insurance risk and never did anything with the second go around. Don't major in English or History folks.

Anyway, we do not live in a just society, so thank fuck for people who chose to simply ignore the rules.
