Suella Braverman seeks to curb use of tents by homeless people - saying it is 'a lifestyle choice'
  • I doubt anyone chooses to sleep in a tent outside m&s if there were decent alternatives, not hostels where you risk you minimal possessions or even safety. Make the shelters better and better prospects. If the people are here illegally then use that avenue, if they are legal then we should help those less fortunate not leave them to freeze

  • Chris Packham’s ‘instinctive’ bird sniffing is not a crime, police say
  • Seems vindictive complaint to police from a local shooter who dislikes Packham. He was handling them to be weighed and ringed as a part of the a conservation license, a quick sniff check is not going to give me hem anymore distress.

  • Hospital bosses ignored months of doctors' warnings about Lucy Letby
  • It really isn't this is the similar to say state run nuclear plants...face saving.

I fully.support the NHS method as think it good value (if not starved of funding). But have to admit all systems can have flaws.

  • Other plans by Crooked House owners have caused anger in Midlands
  • I have a feeling whatever happens,.if the current owners build.anything there is enough bad sentiment in the area it may well be burnt down, so for public safety they should not stay owners.

(This comment is in no way meant to say that arson is a good please don't burn anything down, but is a comment on the sentiment of.those there)

  • Is charging electric car at holiday house "theft"?
  • I get it's different, but is it theft. If there was a wattmeter and I filled an inflatable swimming pools every day would that be theft... What if I brought an inflatable hot tub and ran the heater for the week. If electricity is included in the rate that implies the guest can use what they want

  • Is charging electric car at holiday house "theft"?
  • I get the safety concerns but does she say "no charging cars" in the terms and conditions. I am not sure this is theft any more than charging mobile phones and tablets would be. If she is worried about how much electricity then take meter readings and make it accepted terms that all electricity is to be paid for. What if one guest choses to use the oven for a five course meal. Is that theft of electricry

  • Is charging electric car at holiday house "theft"?
www.express.co.uk Airbnb host left shocked after electric car drivers ‘steal’ her electricity | UK | News | Express.co.uk

One problem for holidaymakers renting electric cars is that the charging infrastructure in rural areas isn't as thorough as it is on the UK's motorways.

Looks like Wilkos might be going the way of Woolworths
  • Actually find it cheaper than Amazon, even with prime. Amazon just factor delivery into their costs now, so for.low value goods like Wilko sells.tjeybare cheaper.....however I go to range or b+m as parking in town center is too expensive.
