Kyrgyzstan rule
  • I don't know exactly, but this is specially made equipment. I've never seen a bow with a hole in the handle for the arrow. That makes a lot of sense, it's probably very difficult to balance the arrow just right. And because of the hole, I'm not seeing much in the way of fletching on that arrow. The grip is also made for toes. I would guess it is a lower weight bow.

  • Donors
  • There was a librarian who saved his whole life and when he passed donated I think 1 million dollars to his old university. That university then spent the money on a new score board for the football field. I bet if he saw that he would have wished he put some stipulations on his donation.

  • President Biden and Vice President Harris Announce Additional Actions to Reduce Gun Violence and Save Lives.
  • They want research done on the cost / benefits of active shooter drills, and how they can be improved. Nowhere in this does it say "Let's do more of these drills."

The gun stuff isn't just about 3d printing but all emerging technologies that can be used to produce illegal firearms. They are again trying to gather information on what can be done about it.

There are also a bunch of suggestions like lock up your guns and funding for counseling and red flag laws.

I would also like to point out that one of Harris's policies is to raise the corporate tax rate, but that's not what this executive order is about.

  • I love people with kids who are oblivious they're shitty parents.
  • I really subscribe to the idea of the kid helping on bills + a little extra and the parent saving as much as they financially can of that into an account and giving it to their kid as a moving away gift.

But yes, I think you are more talking about having the kid pay market price to live at home which is fucked.

  • Entire HR Team Fired After Manager Uses His Own Resume To Prove Their System Is Auto-Rejecting All Candidates
  • I had a pre interview from someone from HR once and it was excruciating. They didn't know wtf I was talking about and I had to repeat myself many times over for very well known tools in my field. Now that I am the one looking over resumes I would never want HR to screen anyone, because they can't possibly know what makes a good candidate for every single position or even how to read qualifications correctly.

  • Supportive dad
  • I don't think it was that uncommon for a boomer dad to never change a diaper. One of my friends dad was bragging about it and my own dad was a little surprised to see me change one. Luxury of a single income supporting a middle class family of 4 I guess.

  • What movies can you rewatch often and not get tired of?
  • I just watched Hot Tub Time Machine for the first time the other day. The ending is incredibly messed up. They come back and stuff is different but they don't have memory of the last 20 years? They just overwrote the new timeline versions of themselves. And Rob Corddry isn't even sad about it, he's basically like screw those guys that I've built my life around I got my messed up friends back.

The rest of the movie is pretty good though.
