Lol, wouldn't have bat an eye in the actual ottoman empire.
Commoners? They still refer to their citizens as commoners?
So slack is stealing trade secrets?
Why not use the full rail?
Reminds me of the premise of We Happy Few. Or maybe Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep since that also had artificial neurotransmitters for mood control.
If only modern cars weren't tracking my every move and selling it to the highest bidder.
They are also Voluntary Conscripts which means they actually had a choice between death and serving.
Ah yes we should expect bus and train drivers to go into danger head first.
I do the same with Superpowereds by Drew Hayes
Public transit shuts down in emergencies. What is even the point of this complaint?
They could still request to be listed on lemmyverse.net, I think. I don't actually know how private subreddits usually work.
Also if people wanted a private community couldn't they just use an unfederated server?
I am still waiting for multilemmies to become a feature so I can better organize my feed.
Would it be possible to do the other two without RCV? It seems like that would be the most controversial part and will likely kill the bill entirely.
How is the bear not bearable?!
Could use this in the US.
A lot of people are salty that they can't fit in the hot tube.
So I have used a resin vape pen, a thc disposable and edibles and while the disposable makes me cough if I inhale wrong, the dry herb vape will straight up make me throw up due to little bits of weed getting inhaled. Is it a technique issue or maybe I ground it incorrectly,

I feel like he does a pretty good job explaining the origin of the suburbs from a geopolitics position, though some of the youtube comments are unhinged.
But my rosin vape doesn't do that. I might cough if I puff too many times in a row but even then it doesn't hurt, just tickles. What is added to standard vapes that I am reacting too? Is it a quality problem or should I just get rosin from now on?
I have free access to a family member's camera but it really isn't the best. I think it has a 1/2" sensor though the sensor is not listed anywhere on the box or in the manual which I guess is a red flag. Should I wait and save up more money to buy a better camera or could I use this one to learn on?
I get that they sound similar but they absolutely are not the same thing and its use implies that there are only mirrorless cameras.

I had been looking for a bike to get around my local city and managed to snag a Huffy cruiser for $50. It is in decent shape with only some superficial rust on the pedals. This will be a big learning experience for me as I haven't ridden a bike for nine years. I'll both learn how to use a bike to run errands and how to do some of my own maintenance. Maybe even customize it a bit by adding a frame lock and a 3 speed gear hub. I guess we shall see how far I get in this learning and fitness quest.

His full song is unironically pretty good.
So I live in the US and I have seen a few videos proclaiming the virtues of Dutch style bikes including NoJustBike's video. They all are saying that these bikes cannot be found in the US but couldn't one just buy a step through frame and just add the missing features themselves such as a chain guard and parallel handle bars?
A sheltered e-bike seems perfect for the winters where I live but the ones I see available start at $10,000 which seems very steep given they are categorized as bikes.
I enjoyed the Jasmine tea and the white tea, which tasted like incense smells. The green tea tasted like spinach and the oolong didnt taste like much. The fermented tea tasted like cut grass. The Cardamom Ceylon black tea didnt have a strong flavor at first but with sweetener, the cardamom really pops. I had hoped that I would like tea unsweetened so that I would have a healthy beverage but it is either no strong enough, bitter, or tastes like plant. To be fair, only the cheap store brand tea has been bitter. Any suggestions for teas to try that are more on the fruity, nutty, floral, or spice teas?
I was suprised that none of the thrift stories had any teapots. Coffee machine pots sure, but no teapots. The third antique store had one that was the size I was looking for given I make tea for one. !!Its a brown betty I guess and its makers mark implies it is at least 50 years old.
I have been looking into dry herb vaping as a reusable some what healthy way to consume trees but I have seen some mixed reviews. Some say that vaping is even more potent that combustion while others claim that most dry herb vapes suck and only giant ball vapes can compare to a bong hit. Is it purely subjective or are there ways to figure out what is a worth while rig before buying it?
Not from State Farm. Sorry to disappoint. I'm just a half-Iranian American exploring the fediverse. I am interested in science, tech, philosophy, animals, comedy, a wide range of music, and even politics. Though the politics in my country are plain depressing atm.
