@fuck_cars @Fitz @ajsadauskas I think it’s probably an objection to pubs in neighbourhoods. The noise, drunk foot traffic, vomit on the footpaths.
I’ve got 5 pubs within 15 minutes!

@ajsadauskas @fuck_cars I figured that's what they meant too, but I definitely don't have one of those, that's more like a couple of hundred kilometres!

@ajsadauskas @fuck_cars Everything except a university. We don't have one in my town. And the sports stadium is either a football (AFL) field, or a horse trots course. And there really aren't any busses except for the school busses. I do like country town living <3

@ajsadauskas @fediverse Is this part of the Adopt, Extend, Extinguish model? They could adopt the fediverse protocols, but instead chose to implement their own so they would be in control. What does that mean in the long term?
Or is this a mis-take on the issue?
