Do you register your products for warranty?
  • The registration is sometimes needed when the manufacturer offers a warranty beyond what is required by law.

  • Reddit literally shilling their own stonks to users in direct message, reveals that CEO gets paid $193 million last year
  • Honestly, I'm kinda looking forward to the IPO - because it might be the last enshittification straw that breaks the camel's neck that will finally drown reddit for what it has become.

  • Does a Reddit IP ban affect everyone in your house?
  • It's not that expensive to buy a premium static IP from ISPs. It's like 10% on top of a usual monthly rate, so not a terribly expensive one.

  • Starfield Review - Buy, Wait, Never touch
  • I love handcrafted world of skyrim. Escapist preview essentially mentioned that a lot of the starfield world is barren procedural-like planets. I would love an exploration game. I’m not sure I want a game with bazillion planets each of which has essentially same outpost (from design perspective). Granted, I might be wring, I keep watching reviews and opinions, but at this point, the game is not instabuy, more like wait for a sale - if it kept its hype.

  • The Escapist preview essentially confirmed my fears - I guess I'll patiently wait for TES IV.

  • I mean, that is what a “real” lightsaber is too. Contained plasma. So a butan flame is not “that” far off. Now to find a way to shape the flame with magnets instead of relying on laminar flow and you have as close to real lightsaber as you could get.

  • Can you drive a manual transmission?
  • EU and I most definitely can (that may not be surprising). But funnily enough, I bought my first car a few months ago (I drove family cars only before - all manuals) and that one is the volume knob automat. I wanted to stick with manual (pun intended), but my fiancee convinced me and I have to agree that there's a certain comfort in automat.

  • Easy way to remote share the desktop?
  • I have to be honest - its a foss software, so make use of the fact that its a foss.
