  • I seem to recall a couple years back, some senator lady subpoenaing the passenger manifests for all private flights to that island. I don't remember if anything ever came of that.

  • There are legitimately Americans who rely on it too.

  • Why hasn't this been blocked by payment processors?

  • Well turns out he's started a criminal investigation against Obama for his time in office, in which he would be (per his own supreme court win) immune to criminal prosecution. Just more distractions from the Epstein files

  • It's not against the law if it's a presidential action. Lol

  • Usually chips. But also other foods. Pizza, bread sticks, french fries. Now that I think about it, it's usually a carb.

  • They've been showing ads in the start menu for years now. Since windows 8 honestly.

  • The joke is in the wheelchair. Greg Abbott dreams about Sparta kicking Mexicans into the Rio Grande. He deserves the same.

  • Literally nobody is advocating for the release of source code. Read the damn petition.

This is very specifically about making sure when you drop support for a product you sold, that it is still usable. Every live service game has testing server files that can be released. Even if those files are a retail product, that's better than what these people are doing. There is not a single good reason games should be left unplayable after the publisher decides it is no longer profitable to maintain it. Servers do not have to run on the publisher's dime and there is no longer an expectation for things like anticheat to function once the product reaches the end of expected support. Hundreds of thousands of games have been released and had their support end without taking the playability of the game away from the customer.

  • This could be an interesting subject to research. Tracing just how much of the world's debt can be wiped based on debt loops.

One problem you'll run into is debt priority; essentially who your invalidated debt should be paid to before someone else. In theory you really wouldn't run into too much of this but small sums of money have started greater wars.

One other issue is that in reality, debt is a good thing to hold over others for political power. There is money to be earned from interest and there is also a credit history in holding debt with a nation you are friendly with. Debt for individuals is bad. But debt for countries is a tool for all parties involved to benefit from.

  • I mean, having relations with the same gender is considered adultery because according to their faith, you cannot marry the same sex. That would be regardless of the law of the land.

That said, I do not for one second, believe anyone who claims to have followed all 10 commandments from the moment they reached the age of accountability (another Christian belief regarding at which point a person is responsible for their sins.)

  • Arguing against the comparison diminishes the harm that can come from a modern day concentration camp. If you want the Holocaust to stay in the history books and not find their way back into the news, you'd compare the two without hesitation. If you're so familiar with the process, then you'd be screaming at every turn about what is obviously happening. If we can't make the comparison between this camp and Auschwitz until we are gassing Latinos in America, then it is too late to stop it.

  • Interesting, so you're telling me that everything I ever learned about Nazi occupied Poland is wrong then? The first gassings at Auschwitz were in 1941, 2 years after the first camp was established there. There were several camps but they started with one camp and worked their way up to gas chambers. If you're going to tell me I'm wrong, your source ought to be better than "I'm a German millennial." Because even the first 3 paragraphs on Wikipedia provide better sources than that.

Try me, I'll argue all day about Nazi plans, because the only way to stomp out a flame is to know why it's burning.

  • You think Auschwitz started out openly with a plan to kill every detainee? German concentration camps were no different than this at the start. Mass cells for a designated group of "outsiders". It was only later that the gas chambers were erected to cull the contained population to make room for more detainees. We are moments away from Auschwitz in America. If you can't see that, you are deluded.
