  • Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin

Waited for the steam release and played through it almost fully with a friend in co-op, all DLC's included. My GOTY last year. Fantastic gameplay (shoutouts to Team Ninja), with a story that starts off as a shitpost but evolves into (in my opinion) something really beautiful, I can only recommend this game to any Final Fantasy fan. Having played through FF1 is not required, but makes it a little bit more fun. Best protagonist.

  • The state of my garden right now
  • Amazing!!! So much variety, everything for self-use I assume?

Wanted to plant some tomatoes on our balcony this year again, but some health issues got in the way, and now I'm kinda glad because there has been practically no sun so far here in germany where I live.

Keep us updated if you want! Would love to see the fruits (and vegetables!) of your labor!

  • Path of Exile 2 devs working on Steam Deck compatibility
  • they downvoted them because they told them the truth

also another big reason is cheating, drops are serverside so people can't just cheat currency / equipment and flex with it online, people showing off is a big motivator for the poe community I feel

dunno how it is now but PoE was unplayable when played from an HDD for a long time, you couldnt load into oriath without crashing because the amount of MTX would crash spaghetticode arpg, and they didn't allow to load into hideout even back then

  • Valve faces a £656 million lawsuit in the UK for 'overcharging 14 million PC gamers'
  • you should really inform yourself what "exponential" means lmao. poster was right, it's proportional growth(linear), not exponentional, there is no exponent here. The graphic with x for how much the product costs and with y for how much 30% of that are is a straight line:

    f(x) = 0.3x

  • The MSI Claw is an embarrassment
  • Alright no worries, my first comment was mostly just a quick jab at intels powerhungriness on desktop compared to AMD and windows 11's telemetry eating up processing power (which I also know can be turned off). Admittedly, I don't know too much about power efficiency of intel's mobile chips to comment on them in a serious way.

  • The MSI Claw is an embarrassment
  • it seems that you didn't understand my comment. What I wanted to highlight is, both AMD CPU's and Linux use up less battery than Intel CPU's and Windows 11 while gaming. Why are you telling me something about "my steam deck runs windows 11 at """full speed"""(?)"? If you check GamersNexus' MSI Claw review, you'll realize that its battery life is pretty bad compared to other handhelds, arguably one of the most important stats of a handheld.

  • Activision Blizzard workers speak out after Bobby Kotick’s CEO exit
  • Warcraft 3 was basically my childhood, and it's so extremely sad to see what happened to blizzard. It was THE game company that cared about it's fans, bringing out balance patches and new features many many years after games were released. Now, even with Kotick gone, I'm never gonna spend a penny on any of their games ever again

Edit: BlitzChung was right, we stand with HongKong

  • AMD FSR 3.0 has exposed the ugly truth about most PC gamers
  • The author goes quite to lengths to criticize and make fun of people who didn't like DLSS 3, while probably not having a nVidia card that supported it (which is, kinda, fair), and then gets butthurt about FSR 3.0 being mostly universally loved, while not adressing the huge elephant in the room: FSR works on all brands of cards while DLSS does not, because nVidia is a greedy company. Of course, if more people can test the feature, more people are gonna like it. If nVidia made DLSS work on all brands this wouldn't have been a problem, but then mr. butthurt author couldn't have published this shit of an "article" (what is there to learn from this article, that gamers are whiny babies?)

Trash article, hope author stubs his toe
