He's got a point
  • There’s XLOOKUP, which isn’t nearly as volatile as INDEX/MATCH. And also more versatile than vlookup.

  • Painful sensitivity to touch?
  • Yeah that sounds about right unfortunately. And fibro is a diagnoses of exclusion but there are specific body parts that are more sensitive and that’s pretty easy to test for. The doctor basically pokes you and sees if you flinch in pain or not lol.

  • Painful sensitivity to touch?
  • I have fibromyalgia along with audhd and this actually sounds a lot like my experience. You should look into that maybe!

  • What are your pros and cons for noise cancelling headphones vs ear buds?
  • Earbuds are usually less expensive and more portable for me. I can tuck the case in my pocket or in a small bag so that I always have them with me. They do hurt after a while though, but like after 2-3 hours straight.

  • About Americans or Australians?

  • Fluffy hunter
  • This is the cat equivalent of “Get off my lawn!”

  • State flags
  • What's a word you've spent a long time not using right?
  • I think both uses are correct. It can mean any strong/intense feeling:

  • "The Creation of Cat"
  • This is beautiful!

  • The Broad Autism Phenotype Questionnaire
  • Sheesh, I knew I was autistic but not 5+ out of 6 in each category autistic. The imposter syndrome is real. 😂

  • Radar is devastated that I'm going back to the office after being home for almost 3 months with an injury
  • He has opinions and is tired of being ignored on these calls.

  • Would you join their secret society?
  • How are they staying in there? Is there like a ledge or something for them to stand on?

  • As an adult, what seemingly childish things do you get excited about?
  • I loved it! Totally recommend! Whenever I visit a zoo or aquarium I always check for any animal encounter programs they have to ensure I get to pet as many animals as possible.

  • As an adult, what seemingly childish things do you get excited about?
  • About a month ago I planned an entire day trip to the Living Desert Zoo in Palm Springs for me and my husband. I got to feed a giraffe and pet a rhino. I was so freaking happy!

  • Owl of the Year Match 15 - Flammulated Owl vs Great Horned Owl
  • You definitely have to curate your feed, even on All! I block most of the politics and news communities specifically for that reason. Otherwise it can be overwhelmingly depressing. If something is important enough, it’ll make it into my feed anyway.

  • Owl of the Year Match 15 - Flammulated Owl vs Great Horned Owl
  • Maybe next year there can be user submissions and you can choose the best of those for the brackets? Then at least some of the work is done for you.

EDIT: I really appreciate all your hard work btw! Love this community so much!

  • Feature Request - Show number of comments at top of post on scroll

Hi! I find myself wondering how many comments are in a post as I’m scrolling down a comment chain. Then I have to scroll all the way back to the top to check the number, then scroll back down to find my place. Would it be possible to keep the number at the top of the post on scroll? Here’s how it’s done on Memmy.

Also, additional request — the ability to swipe left to go back into a post we were just in.

And I just want to say I love having the ability to show read posts, in case I accidentally scroll and mark a post read. Obviously, I lose my place a lot lol.

    Pull to refresh blocks post

The pull to refresh prompt blocks the content of the first post in my feed without any way around it.

[Feature Request] Default sort in communities

Would it be possible to implement a default sort on community pages?

Like the default sort for my feed is Hot, but if I go to a community page I like to sort by new. But it defaults to the same as my feed sort (Hot).

    Thanks!!
