The trouble is that what trump is doing is similar to what other current dictatorship countries did when transitioning from a democracy to a dictatorship.

When you throw a million different conflicting stories at the general public such as one day banning all foreign investment, and the other day expropriating domestic companies, people start to get overwhelmed with information overloaded.

Next thing you know in 6 months to a year the government you knew no longer exists and all your rights where stripped.

Its like saying the president can do anything they want, and "the people" can't do anything about it.

At this point there is nothing that can be done but mass US wide protests.

The government works for the people, when it stops doing that its no longer a government, but a dictatorship.

Next they will start shrinking sidewalks and green spaces to give them back to cars. Cities are for the people that live there. Toronto needs more "for people" focused infrastructure and safer more inviting main streets.

Why do i get a feeling that stopping trans women from competing in women's sports is not about protecting women?

Could it be about protecting men from mixed emotions when they find themselves feeling attracted to a trans women.

People rights are slowly being taken away, but no one cares until it effects them directly. At which point it to late.

Both women and men should quit NCAA in protest. Trans men exist just as much as trans women.

Unfortunately you're more then likely correct. Lead exposure/ingestion is devastating (and so might be plastic ingestion as well)
