Not anymore, after I made this post I also replied to a different external community and it went fine so it may have just been a one-off thing or an issue with the instance that community is hosted on at the time. I posted the reply I was trying to make now and it went through.
Had an error while trying to reply a few days ago but that 3d platformer bundle is absolutely worth it for Demon Turf and A Hat in Time. A Hat in Time is heavily inspired my Mario 64 and while it's short was really nice to play through. I haven't finished Demon Turf but it's pretty good

I think it's to save face since they're going to have to in the EU anyway, what better way to get good PR than to pretend you've had a change of heart and make more sales in the process
For anyone who comes by and just skims this, this is not cryptocurrency and it is not a captcha, it's just additional computation the browser will do in the background to prove it's a real human operated device.
They say it takes roughly 5ms on a fast computer and 30ms on a slow one, but on a DDOS attack would scale those up to a minute of work per connection.
