Why isn’t Hiroshima a Nuclear Wasteland?
  • 4 types of ways to detonate a nuke, the one in Hiroshima and Nagasaki were air blasts, meaning they blew up before hitting the ground. Also, only less than 1 gram of the uranium actually got converted into energy. Because it didn’t touch the ground, radioactive material didn’t mix with the dirt and rubble and get thrown back in the air. All the radiation was gone within 24 hours.

  • Are there actually any deals worth getting on Prime Day?
  • If you already had something in mind to get, and you check the price (camelcamelcamel.com is a great resource for Amazon price tracking) and it’s on sale, that’s optimal. Other than that, it’s usually Amazon devices and other Amazon products that have the best deals (Fire TV, Kindle, Echo, etc.)
