I’m using Memmy and I don’t see any linked article, that’s why I asked for a source. Maybe it’s a bug, or maybe it’s my unfamiliarity with the app UI. Weird.
EDIT: It looks like links are hidden in Memmy when I select Compact view. I can see the links when I switch back to standard view. Apologies for the mixup.
Another fix: Drag all comments (or posts) from left-to-right in an oscillating motion, and this seems to “unstuck” the vertical scrolling. I think what’s happening is that a given comment (or post) is getting stuck ~1 pixel off-center, so the app assumes you’re still focusing on the comment’s horizontal scroll pane (rather than the overall page’s vertical scroll pane).
Wefwef can access kbin indirectly. For example, if I log into lemmy.world and view “All” posts, I can see cross-federated posts from kbin. I’m not sure if you can login to kbin directly though. The UI/UX is literally a carbon copy of Apollo. It’s great.
