Usually I collect science fiction movies in 4K as there are many effects, such as Interstellar or Star Wars.

I don't think animated films are worth 4K as you can easily make do with 1080p.

Can see that RARBG releases are also very popular, but the quality is probably best for Tablets or phones. However, I can see that PSA is also good, but I don't know their 4K releases if they should be good or close to TIGOLE releases.

I'm gonna download some movies for my phone Samsung s23 Ultra. 6.8 inch screen. What resolution should I go for? 480p,720p? Or is RARBG quality fine enough? I don't need dts or any other high quality sound track.

I'm going to start backing up all my movies to an external drive. Do you guys encrypt (BitLocker) the drive in case of theft?

It probably makes more sense when it's family photos or the like, but this is just movies in 1080p and 2160p.
